Happy Island Fantasy Tips: Girls’ Schedules | Locations | Unlocks | Making Money & More

Happy Island Fantasy doesn’t make it too easy for you to get in the good graces of the in-game girls. I was actually surprised with the amount of depth the game has, and there are some very important things you should keep in mind to make each new playthrough a success.

The Happy Island Fantasy tips and tricks below will make your life a lot easier, even if you are on your first run. I will be covering useful things below, from the location and schedules of the girls (where to meet them) to how to make money faster, collectibles & locations for other important items.

With all these out of the way, let’s jump right into the useful stuff!

Girls’ Schedules & Locations

Knowing where each girl is at different times of day saves you a ton of backtracking and guesswork. Below you’ll find the daily routines of the main girls, split by character.

Margaret

• Mon–Sun, 08:00–18:00 – President’s Office, Group of Happiness Company
• Mon–Sun, 18:00–23:00 – Japanese-style bar

Mia

• Mon–Sun, 08:00–12:00 – Museum office
• Mon–Sun, 12:00–19:00 – Beside the mine, at the lean-to/dog shed
• Mon–Sun, 19:00–24:00 – Museum office

Ashley

• Mon–Sun, 06:00–12:00 – Hospital
• Mon–Sun, 12:00–18:00 – Royal Restaurant
• Mon–Sun, 18:00–24:00 – Bedroom on the 2nd floor of the Royal Restaurant

Charlotte

• Mon–Fri, 09:00–18:00 – Beauty Products Department, 2nd floor of the Happiness Research Institute

Character Figurine Locations

You can collect 8 character figurines in the game, spread over the entirety of the game and only found if you know where to look. Most of these are well hidden and easily missed, so knowing exactly where to search will make your life a lot easier.

Charlotte Figure

• Location: 1st floor of the Happiness Research Institute.
• How to find it: Walk to the right, toward the windows, and stop at the curtain (the figure is behind it).

Margaret Figure

• Location: Margaret’s President Office
• How to find it: It’s located on the left side of her desk, next to a potted plant.

Mia Figure

• Location: Mia’s office
• How to find it: Next to her desk, near a statue on the left.

Luna Figure

• Location: Her room in the Botanical Research Institute
• How to find it: Near her desk.

Sophia Figure

• Location: Rooftop of the Happiness Construction Company
• How to find it: On the right side, near the stacked boxes.

Ashley Figure

• Location: 1st floor of the Royal Restaurant
• How to find it: At the cashier counter, next to another item.

Brown Haired Girl Figure

• Location: Hee Hong’s shop behind Dio Siam
• How to find it: Get into the alley to the right of the arcade, then search the bushes near the blue car.

Succubus Margaret Figure

• Location: This only appears after Margaret’s 7th quest, after the cutscene with you.
• How to find it: When you regain control (after the cutscene ends), go the the upper-right part of the cave and find the figure hidden behind the pillar.

Unlocking the High-Level Mines

The Mines will prove to be the best option to make money in Happy Islad Fantasy, as we’ll see below… but for starters, we have to learn how to unlock the higher level mines, as they are unlocked originally.

And in order to unlock the mine, you must have Mia’s 3rd event quest completed. This is the race against Xiaoli, which has to be won in order to complete the quest and unlock the mine.

The game is relatively easy if you have your Stamina in check (around 200) and if you’re careful with the obstacles.

But there are even higher levels to be unlocked, with them delivering even better results from mining. Here is how to unlock the final rarity level of the mine:

1. Talk to Dali after finding out that he blew up the mine’s entrance. He’ll give you a list of materials needed to craft the Sky-Drop Silver Pickaxe.

2. Gather all the materials and return them to Dali, who will craft the pickaxe for you.

3. With it, start the mining mini-game and beat it. Similarly to the previous minigame, you will need your Speed at around 200 to easily beat the minigame.

How to make more money in the game

There are two main approaches to making more money in the game based on the two stages of the mine (father and son). It’s the later stages when you will make real money (when the mines are unlocked), but you can build a stable income early as well if you do the best things.

The easiest early game method of making more money is fishing and selling the fish (don’t forget to give Margaret copies first!). Another option is gathering materials and selling them.

Also, if you find lost money pouches, it’s best to return them – the police will give you a reward of at least $1,000, while opening it will always give you $500 (which will increase to $1,000 in the Son’s stage). But even so, in the long run, it will be more profitable to return them.

Son’s Island

After the early stages, you will have more options for making more money. This is when you have mining (and the higher-level mines, too), as well as the previous methods.

So while fishing still works decently and can give you nice returns, you should focus your energy on mining (especially after unlocking all levels). I recommend doing this instead of farming, which should be ignored as it gives lower returns and takes more time.

Also, you can Work at the Happiness Research Institute, but the pay is random so you don’t know exactly what you’ll get – still, good pay!

Working at the Happiness Research Institute & Character Skills

Here is the schedule:

• You can work there Mon–Fri, 08:00–18:00.
• Weekends (Sat–Sun) are off.

Working here not only gives you random amounts of money, but also XP points that you can invest to improve your character

3 Cat Thieves & 3 Missing Recipes Locations (Ashley’s 4th Quest)

Finally, when you reach Ashley’s 4th Quest, you will have to find the three cat thieves and missing recipes. While this is an easy quest, knowing exactly where to go will save you some time – even though you receive hints that help you a bit.

Cat Thief #1 & Stir-fried Tomato and Egg Recipe

• Location: Top-right side of the High-Level Fishing Spot.

Cat Thief #2 & Grilled Salmon Recipe

• Location: Left side of the apartment area, at the top-right of the public park.

Cat Thief #3 & Spicy Bibimbap in Stone Pot Recipe

• Location: Bottom-right of the Saltwater Fishing Spot.
