Dragon Sleuth: Brittany – Where to Find all Puzzle Pieces and Lore Books

If you’ve already cleared the main story in Dragon Sleuth: Brittany, or are working your way through it, you’ve probably realized that the game hides more than just plot twists and flirtatious dragons.

Between the jokes, side characters, and steamy mini-games, there’s a secondary game-within-the-game: hunting down collectibles.

In today’s guide, I will share every Puzzle Piece and Lore Book location across both islands. Keep in mind that there might be some minor spoilers involved, so if you want the game to be completely spoiler-free… better read this article for your second play through.

Speaking of playthroughs, I have a Dragon Sleuth: Brittany Complete Walkthrough published in case you get stuck and want to complete the main story quickly (it covers all main quests, puzzles, and minigames from start to finish.)

What are these collectibles and why should you care?

Before jumping into the location lists, here’s a quick rundown of what each collectible type does:

Puzzle Pieces – These are hidden fragments scattered around the islands. Collecting them reveals bonus art and short in-game easter eggs.

Lore Books – These are optional world-building items found in story locations. They expand on characters, history, and side stories.

Each island contains several of both, and while none are permanently missable, some require specific story progression or nighttime visits.

Suggested Collecting Order

You can pick these up freely, but the following sequence lines up naturally with story progress and minimizes backtracking:

  1. Early Game: Apartments, Noelle’s Diner, Brittany’s House Lore Book
  2. Mid-Game (Mine – Arena – Dragon’s Den): Mike’s Shop, Janice’s Shop, Wrestling Locker, Dragon’s Den, Nesting Grounds
  3. End of Island One: Castle Love Spires, Hot Springs, Copulation Beach
  4. Island Two Start: Birdhouse Level 1, Hobby Shop, Grocery Store piece
  5. Late Game: Graveyard and Phoenix Roost pieces, Couple’s Cove Lore Book

Why Collect Everything?

Completing the collectible sets isn’t required for story progression, but it does round out the experience. The Puzzle Pieces add fun extras, while the Lore Books expand on characters and background events, giving fans more context for Brittany’s world.

It’s a perfect side goal once you’ve finished the main story or during a replay run when you want to dig deeper into the game’s humor and lore.
