In short, you can increase your stash size by upgrading it through your hideout, purchasing better editions of the game through the official store like Prepare for Escape, and purchasing the Stash Upgrade from the store to get anywhere between 2-28 extra lines.
Let’s go through each method in turn.
Hideout Stash Upgrade in EFT
If you own the standard edition of Tarkov, your Hideout stash will be at level 1. Let’s go through all stash upgrades available through the hideout.

Keep in mind that the Edge of Darkness Edition, which grants you access to the Level 4 Stash immediately, is no longer available for purchase at the Store. The best edition you can get is Prepare for Escape.

Other than these editions, the developers have recently added another way to gain extra storage by purchasing stash lines. Let’s explain this in detail.
Stash Upgrade Through Additional Lines
You can expand your stash in Escape From Tarkov by purchasing additional lines through the official store in the Expansions tab. Each line costs 1.5€ and you can purchase any number between 2 and 28.
These count as extra even if you have the Edge of Darkness Edition and can bring your total storage to 10×96.
If you completed The TerraGroup Trail questline back in July/August 2023, which grants two stash lines as a reward for completing the final quest, you will be able to purchase up to 26 additional stash lines through this upgrade.
