Any ammo that wasn’t mentioned shouldn’t be used at all. They have low penetration value and won’t be able to take down an enemy unless you shoot them in the face. Especially if you’re going to spray-and-pray, high-tier ammo is essential.

If there’s one essential tip in Escape From Tarkov it’s to spend most of your money on good ammo, not on good weapons. A bad weapon with good ammo can easily kill an enemy, while a good weapon with bad ammo can’t.
