Start by going to the destinations tab (hotkey ‘D’), and then select ‘Remove Destination (hotkey ‘X’). Afterward, mark the starting point of the mining order you want to cancel, click ‘Enter’, mark the ending point and click ‘Enter’ again.
Also, there’s a simpler method including the eraser symbol at your hotbar. Simply click on that and mark the area with the mining order you want to cancel.
Keep in mind this only works with unfinished mining orders. Once an order has been executed, the eraser won’t help at all.
How to Cancel a Mining Operation in the Tutorial
There is an issue with the tutorial currently that doesn’t allow players to cancel their mining orders.
Unfortunately, there is no workaround to this, other than being careful in your mining orders within the tutorial. Hopefully, the developers will fix this soon. For now, the eraser feature is disabled in the tutorial.
