Dead by Daylight Bone Chill Event Guide

Bone Chill is the latest Dead by Daylight holiday event, and it includes a wide variety of new activities and rewards. Here’s how it works.

The event comes with a new rift pass, snowmen and snowskull piles can be found in the trial, and players can earn specific event tokens to buy exclusive items from the store. Additionally, new time-limited outfits have been added to the normal store.

Without further delay, let’s go through all the activities in the new Dead by Daylight Bone Chill event.

Winter Party Starters

The Winter Party Starters is a firework item that can be found only in the survivors’ bloodwebs. There is no new item for killers in this event.

Snowmen

Snowmen spawn around the map during trials. There are two types of snowmen: normal ones you can get inside of and camouflage yourself, and fake ones that scream and explore once you get close.

The first snowmen can be used by both survivors and killers. Survivors can use them to hide, while killers will have no terror radius once inside, so they can use them to get close to survivors easily.

However, contrary to previous events, if you hide in a snowman as a survivor and get hit, you will lose a health state; the snowman won’t block a hit anymore.

Snowskull Piles

Around the map, eight Snowskull Piles spawn. These can be picked up by both survivors and killers infinite times. Each time you pick them up, you’ll equip six snowskulls.

These can be thrown in front of you to both survivors and killers. Whenever someone gets hit by a snowskull, it will blind them for a very short amount of time. It’s more about having fun than being useful since the blind duration is too small to be worth it.

Bone Chill Event Rift

The new Event Rift includes three pages of challenges. Each challenge awards blood points, rift fragments, and the new Tokens named Frosty Trinkets, which are used to buy the rewards listed below.

Time-Limited Outfits

Additionally, there are multiple new survivor and killer outfits in the shop that will be for sale while the event is active. Check the in-game store for more details!

Dead by Daylight Bone Chil Rewards

After earning enough Winter Tokens, you’ll be able to exchange them for various rewards in the event shop. Here are all the available rewards:

Patched Read Leather (Jeff) – 150 Tokens
Loose Shoelaces (Jeff) – 150 Tokens
Murky Antlers (Wraith) -150 Tokens
Knitted Plaid (Wraith) – 150 Tokens
Knitted Present (Thalita) – 100 Tokens
Evasive Memory (Gabriel) – 100 Tokens
Knitted Kite Sweater (Renato) – 100 Tokens
Frosty Eyes (Skull Merchant) – 50 Tokens
Toothed Fir (Clown) – 100 Tokens
Buckskin Hammer (Hillbilly) – 100 Tokens
Mistletoe Cleaver (Trapper) – 100 Tokens
Snowman (killer and survivor badge) – Event Tome
Snow Skulls (killer and survivor banner) – Event Tome
Wormy Breath (killer and survivor charm) – 75 Tokens
Bone Fir (killer charm) – 75 Tokens
Snowman-in-the-box (survivor charm) – Event Tome

Dead by Daylight Bone Chill End Date

The Bone Chill event ends on January 4, 2024. Make sure to claim any rewards you want before then!
