The rings are located in different locations but both are near the House of Healing and equipping them to different characters will allow for a special skill.

Where to Find the True Love Rings in Baldur’s Gate 3
The True Love Rings include the True Love’s Caress and the True Love Embrace.
To find them in Baldur’s Gate 3, navigate to the House of Healing. Both rings are nearby, one within the house and one on the graveyard just east of it.
Let’s examine how to find both rings in turn:
True Love’s Caress Ring Location in BG3
The True Love’s Caress ring is located at the cemetery, just east of the House of Healing and before the Masons’ Guild.
To get it, you’ll need to loot a skeleton body at the following coordinates:
- X: -149 and Y: 42
And that’s all. No puzzle or tricky enemy to face, just a DC 5 Perception check to reveal the skeleton body and you’ll be able to loot it and get the ring.
Alongside the ring, you’ll find a book called “Bonded by Love – Wife’s Diary” that shares some information about the story of the original owners of the rings.
True Love’s Embrace Ring Location in BG3
The True Love’s Embrace ring can be found in the south rooms within the House of Healing. Specifically, navigate to the southwestern room of the area at the following coordinates:
- X: -209 & Y: 0
Between the beds, you’ll find a skeleton lying on a mattress and you can loot it to get the ring.
Alongside the ring, you’ll find a book called “Bonded by Love – Husband’s Diary” which will reveal the full story between the two lovers.
True Love’s Caress & True Love’s Embrace Effect
The rings have a unique effect once equipped to different characters and it will allow them to form a special connection and use a unique skill.
Specifically, the wearer of True Love’s Embrace can cast Gentle Warding Bond on the wearer of True Love’s Caress. This can be used once per Long Rest and has the following effect:
- Gentle Warding Bond: Give resistance to all damage and +1 to Armour Class and Saving Throws.
However, any damage received by the wearer of True Love’s Caress will also be applied to the wearer of True Love’s Embrace.
Thankfully, due to the resistance given by the Gentle Warding Bond, it won’t be that much damage.

To sum up, players can get the True Love Rings in Baldur’s Gate 3 by exploring the House of Healing’s south rooms and the cemetery on its eastern side.
Then, they can equip these rings to give one of their characters the Gentle Warding Bond buff, which offers amazing defensive stats.
