In the final act of the game, players will be faced with the Beast. Based on how they decide to deal with the Beast, they’ll get a different ending.
Overall, there are three endings in Amnesia The Bunker and they depend on whether the Beast lives or dies, and if Henri escapes or falls off.
In this guide, I will list all endings in the game and showcase how to get each of them.

All Endings Guide in Amnesia The Bunker
The game has three endings and they depend solely on what you’ll do during the final encounter with the Beast. Thus, your prior decisions will not influence the ending in any way.
Here are all the endings in Amnesia The Bunker:
- Kill the Beast Ending – The player kills the Beast by making it fall off a bridge.
- Let the Beast Live Ending – The player escapes without killing the Beast, which will continue hunting in the bunker.
- Fall Ending – Henri falls off the bridge during the final encounter and gets transported to a different place.
In the first two endings, the player will successfully escape the bunker but will hear German soldiers approaching right after exiting.
Let’s examine how to get each of the endings in turn.
How to Get the Kill the Beast Ending
For the Kill the Beast Ending, which is considered the good ending in Amnesia The Bunker, players will need to make the Beast fall off into the abyss during the final encounter.
To do that, you will need to make the Beast step on a wooden bridge and then use a grenade or the Shotgun to break that bridge. This will cause the Beast to fall and help you get the good ending.
Keep in mind that the map will have multiple bridges with some of them being wooden and others made of stone (which don’t break). There is no way to know which bridges will be wooden in your playthrough, as it’s chosen randomly each time.
To kill the Beast easily, use the Rabbit Toy or a Flare in the middle of a wooden bridge. This will force the Beast to stand still for a few seconds, which gives you just enough time to break the bridge. If you’re using a grenade, throw it when the Beast first steps on the bridge.
Alternatively, you can run away and wait until the Beast jumps towards you. It will always jump on the edge of the platform and hang there for a second. If you shoot it during its ledge grab animation, the Beast will fall and you’ll get the good ending.
Also, this is the only ending that has an achievement. If you want to get the Beast Master achievement/trophy, you will need to kill the Beast by making it fall off.
How to Get the Let the Beast Live Ending
For this ending players will need to escape without killing the Beast. At the back side of the area, you’ll need to place two crates near the stone fence and use them to jump over it.
These crates will be just on the right side of the stone fence. However, you’ll need to lure the Beast to the opposite side of the area to have enough time to stack them.
Keep running and follow the path until you make it out of the bunker.
How to Get the Fall Ending
The fall ending in Amnesia The Bunker can be achieved if the player jumps off into the abyss during the final encounter with the Beast.
Surprisingly, this won’t lead to instant death. Instead, Henri will encounter the Shadow, an entity from Amnesia: The Dark Descent. Then, that shadow will kill Henri.
While this is considered the bad ending in the game, it’s also a unique reference to the previous games in the Amnesia series.
Wrapping up
To sum up this Amnesia The Bunker endings guide, there are three different endings in the game.
The player can kill the beast and survive, let the beast live and survive, or simply fall off a bridge at the end. Each of these actions will trigger a different ending.
