General ways to unlock new heroes

Securing top-tier heroes requires strategic planning and a LOT of griding. I told you exactly what needs to be done to unlock each hero, but I want to go over the methods you generally use for them all:

• Lucky Wheel: Spin for a chance to acquire high-rarity heroes, including exclusive Mythics.
• Hero Recruitment: Use shards – both general and specific – to summon heroes.
• Events: Participate in limited-time challenges to earn rare hero shards.
• Hall of Heroes: Compete against others to climb the leaderboard for valuable rewards.
• Intel Missions: Complete daily tasks for shards, manuals, and experience points.
• Shops and VIP Packs: Purchase specific hero shards or bundles.

Understanding the Generations of Heroes in Whiteout Survival

In Whiteout Survival, heroes are released in waves known as generations. Each generation introduces a set of characters that share a release timeframe and power ceiling.

These heroes arrive with fresh skills, updated stat ranges, and sometimes entirely new mechanics. They can be considered various tiers, with Generation 1 being the foundation and further generations being better and offering stronger heroes with more impressive abilities and specializations.
