Best Ore & Ingot Farm in Palworld
The best method for farming ore in Palworld is to build a secondary base at the right location and use the best mining Pals. This base should only focus on producing ore and transferring it to your main base.
Thankfully, you can have multiple bases in Palworld by reaching levels 10 and 15 in your Palbox. Once you have the ability to create an extra base, here’s the best location.
Thus, other than your main base, you can have two secondary bases dedicated to ore farming. While one will be enough in most cases, you can never have too much ore.
Best Base Location for Ore Farming
There are various locations around the map that include multiple (6-8) ore nodes next to each other. There are a lot of these locations, but here are my favorite ones that are also fairly close to the starting area:
- 158 -395
- 75 -412
- 10 -533
- -50 330
Of course, there are way more locations that you’ll find as you explore the map, but all of them will have the same number of nodes, so it’s all about personal preference.
Once you settle on a location, build a Palbox. The next step is to fill this base with the best mining Pals.
Best Mining Pals in Palworld
There are various Pal options available for mining, but the best mining Pals are the following:
- Anubis
- Digtoise
- Reptyro
- Menasting
- Tombat
You can find Tombat near the starting spawn at night. Reptyro and Menasting are located in the Volcano area, on the far West side of the map.
Lastly, Anubis and Digtoise can be found in the small desert patch in the middle of the map, as shown in the image below.

Best Ore Farming Tips
In an ore farming base, place one Berry Farm, enough Beds for all Pals, and assign the following Pals:
- 1x Transporting
- 1x Planting
- 1x Watering
- Everything else with mining
This way, after placing a Berry Farm, the base will be self-sustaining as you’ll have Pals to plant, water, and harvest berries. Additionally, you’ll have a Pal to transfer all the gathered Iron to a chest that you’ll place next to your Palbox.
Then, the remaining Pals will be mining constantly all nodes and producing infinite iron. Whenever you need iron, travel to this base, fill your inventory with Iron, and fast travel back to your main base. And that’s all!
