If you’re looking for a guide on how to use the Terminal in Lethal Company to open doors, you’ve come to the right place.
You can use the Terminal to open doors by typing “other”, “View Radar” and then the area code where there is a locked door. However, this only works for the large electrical doors, as well as for disabling mines and turrets.
Let’s explain in further detail everything you can do with the Terminal and how to do it.
How to Open Doors with the Terminal in Lethal Company

To use the Terminal and open doors in Lethal Company, type “other” in the Terminal, followed by “View Radar”. Then, find your teammate’s position and the number next to it (e.g. E4) and type that into the terminal.
If there’s a locked door there, you’ll get the “Broadcasted Special Code” message and the door will open.
For this strategy, it’s important to have one player always on the ship, ready to use the terminal. Keep in mind that assigning team roles is one of the best tips in Lethal Company that will increase your chances of surviving.
Keep in mind that this only works for the large electric doors, not the regular, smaller ones. For the normal doors, use the Lock Picker item as mentioned in our Lethal Company equipment guide.
How to Disable Mines and Turrets with the Terminal
Other than doors, you can use the Lethal Company Terminal to disable mines and turrets. Check your teammates’ positions and once there’s a turret or mine next to them, enter the area code on the terminal.
This will disable turrets and mines for 5 seconds and give your team enough time to run past them.
Wrapping up
To summarize this Lethal Company Terminal guide, you can easily open doors and disable mines and auto-turrets by inserting the area code in the Terminal.
This only works for the large electrical doors while mines and turrets are disabled for five seconds. As long as you keep these in mind, you’ll be able to make the most out of the terminal.
