The game has three different endings players can reach. In this guide, I will go over the Decision Missions in Armored Core 6.

As you complete missions and progress through the main campaign, you eventually unlock multiple missions labeled as a “Decision”.

These are conflicting missions due to the opposing forces, and the clashing ideals. Amidst the conflict, you will be forced to choose a side. You will be able to see what each mission entails, but you will have to choose one.

 Once you complete the Decisions Missions, some missions will become unavailable on your current playthrough, and in order to reach the other endings you will have to start a new playthrough.

I will break down each ending, and the order players should complete them if they choose to see all of them. If you don’t want to see them all, but just want to see what options you have then don’t mind the order.

The order will help because one ending needs the player to complete more things in a New Game + playthrough, while another can only be completed in your third playthrough or New Game ++.

Armored Core 6: The Fires of Raven Ending

The Fires of Raven ending is the first ending players can unlock in their first playthrough.

You’ll need to choose the following Decision Missions in order to achieve the last Ending Missions which are Breach the Karman Line, followed by Shut Down the Closure.

Here are the following Decision Missions you need to select:

  • Chapter 3: Eliminate the Enforcement Squads
  • Chapter 4: Intercept the Redguns
  • Chapter 5: Intercept the Corporate Forces
  • Complete the Breach the Karman Line Mission
  • Complete the Shut Down the Closure Mission

These are the steps you need to follow to get The Fires of Raven ending in Armored Core 6.

Armored Core 6: The Liberator of Rubicon Ending

The Liberator of Rubicon ending is supposed to only be available in a New Game + playthrough.

A New Game + playthrough unlocks [ALT] Missions, assignments that have an alternate route, and unlocks other exclusive missions.

Here are the following Decision Missions you need to select:

  • Chapter 1: [ALT] Mission, Attack the Dam Complex
  • Choose REFUSE when given the prompt, after destroying the second generator
  • Chapter 3: Prevent the Corporate Salvage of New Tech
  • Chapter 3: Destroy the Special Forces Craft
  • Chapter 4: Ambush the Vespers
  • Chapter 5: Eliminate “Cinder” Carla
  • Complete the Destroy the Block Drive Mission
  • Complete the Bring Down the Xylem Mission

However, it has been found that despite the in-game flag, you can get it on your first playthrough by simply choosing and completing the Decision Mission in Chapter 5: Eliminate “Cinder” Carla.

These are the steps you need to follow to get The Liberator of Rubicon ending in Armored Core 6.

Armored Core 6: The Alea Iacta Est Ending

The Alea lacta Est ending requires a New Game ++ playthrough.

This path will have a new storyline where you’ll play from the perspective of the opposing faction.

Here are the following Decision Missions you need to select:

  • Chapter 1: [ALT] Mission, Attack the Dam Complex
  • Choose ACCEPT when given the prompt, after destroying the second generator
  • Chapter 3: Prevent the Corporate Salvage of New Tech
  • Chapter 3: Eliminate the Enforcement Squads
  • Chapter 4: Coral Export Denial
  • Complete the Arena and defeat the last opponent after completing Underground Explorations Depths 1-3
  • Chapter 4: Complete Eliminate V.III
  • Complete the MIA Mission
  • Complete the Regain Control of the Xylem Mission
  • Complete the Coral Release Mission

These are the steps you need to follow to get The Alea lacta Est ending in Armored Core 6.

Final Thoughts

Multiple endings offer a lot of replayability to players. With the introduction of new missions and new perspectives, the game avoids feeling repetitive.
