Roots of Pacha: A Guide to Romance

Unfortunately, not everyone you meet will be able to be a romance option, but that’s good too.

You will be able to foster platonic relationships with some of the characters, and to some extent, you will be able to share your day with them.

There are 44 known characters in Roots of Pacha. Among those 44 characters, 11 of them are romance options for the players. You will be able to meet them, grow fond of them, and marry them in the end.

There are indicators in the game that allow you to know instantly which characters are romanceable, and which characters are not.

All characters have flowers next to their name which represent your level of friendship with them.

  • Platonic friendships will be shown with a yellow flower
  • Romance options will be shown with a pink flower

Once you reach 6 flowers with one of the romanceable characters, you can start dating each other.

The character will want to have “the talk”, and end up bluntly asking if you want to be a couple.

The game will allow players to romance all options at once with no repercussions. Also, the game has no gender restrictions when it comes to who you want to love.

So players will be happy to know, that the character that stole their heart will be able to be their partner.

Once you reach 10 flowers with one of the romanceable characters, they will ask you if you want to get married.

Roots of Pacha Marriage

This way players will not have to worry if they missed an event or something in-game that would result in them missing out on getting married.

It will take four days for the marriage to happen. Your spouse will move into your house, and follow their normal schedule as if nothing changed.

They can also give you meals in the morning if you talk to them while they are cooking. Occasionally they will also give you gifts.

Though it may not mean much in-game, aside from a thoughtful gesture. It warms the heart to see them care about you.

Once you feel ready, you can even choose to either have your own kids or adopt a child if you prefer. You can raise them, and influence what role they fulfill for the clan when they grow older.

In Roots of Pacha, you will slowly gain friendship with all of the other characters just by talking to them and giving them gifts. The quickest way to start a romance with one of the characters is by giving them gifts.

Gifts can be anything a player finds or cultivates in the world. Nothing is to be too small to be considered a gift. As long as it has meaning, and the characters like it, it will be enough.

I will list below one of the best gifts you will be able to give to each character you can have a romantic relationship with.
