Whiteout Survival: Teleporters Guide

Teleporters are some of the most useful items in Whiteout Survival. They let you move strategically across the map for attacks, resource gathering, or escaping danger.

In today’s guide, I will tell you everything I’ve learned about the various types of teleporters in the game: how to get them, when to use them, and which type is best for different situations.

To start with a general bit of advice: when I started playing, I used them with no mercy but I soon ran out of them. You don’t want to be in my situation (unless you’re ready to spit out some gems) – so use them only when needed.

With these in mind, here’s everything you should know about these teleporters!

Types of Teleporters in Whiteout Survival

There are four types of teleporters in the game:

  1. Advanced Teleporter
  2. Alliance Teleporter
  3. Territory Teleporter
  4. Random Teleporter

Let’s see what each of them does – and what additional things you should have in mind when dealing with them.

Advanced Teleporter

What it does:

The Advanced Teleporter lets you choose the exact location you want to teleport to. It’s ideal for taking strategic positions, launching attacks, or supporting your team in critical areas.

How to use it:

  1. Click on the location where you want to teleport.
  2. Select “Teleport.”
  3. Choose the Advanced Teleporter icon and confirm.

Important: If you don’t have an Advanced Teleporter in your inventory, using one will cost 4,000 gems.

Speaking of expensive stuff, make sure to also check out my in-depth guide to Fire Crystals in the game.

When to use it:

  • Attacking enemy alliances: Teleport right next to the target for fast, effective strikes. Launch 6 queues quickly to maximize damage before the enemy uses a random teleport to escape.
  • As a leader or high-ranking member (R4 or R5), use it to position near key facilities or enemy borders. Your team can then use Alliance Teleporters to follow your lead.
  • In other tactical situations depending on your strategy and playstyle.

These are the most important teleporters. I wasted them early on, without knowing when cheaper options like Alliance or Territory Teleporters would’ve been enough. Make sure you don’t do like I did!

Where to get advanced teleporters:

  • Alliance Shop: Buy only when discounted.
  • VIP Shop: Weekly limit of 2 at 50% off (4,000 gems each).
  • Control Facilities: Earn as rewards for participation.
  • Foundry Battles: Join or simply sign up to receive 2 free teleporters.
  • State of Power Event: Some rewards may include Advanced Teleporters if you participate in PvP or castle battles.

Alliance Teleporter

What it does:

The Alliance Teleporter moves you next to your Alliance Leader. It’s a budget-friendly alternative to the Advanced Teleporter for group actions.

How to use it:

  1. Open your backpack and go to the “Other” tab.
  2. Select the Alliance Teleporter and click “Use.”
  3. Confirm your teleportation.

When to use it:

  • Follow your Alliance Leader to key facilities or enemy borders.
  • Most leaders position themselves near the bear trap, so teleporting here can help you contribute more damage during bear events. Speaking of which, make sure to check out my guide to the Bear Hunt in Whiteout Survival.

Where to get alliance teleporters:

  • Alliance Shop
  • Events
  • Nomadic Merchant Shop

Territory Teleporter

What it does:

This teleporter moves your city into your alliance’s territory. It’s useful for regrouping and defensive play.

How to Use It:

The steps are the same as using the Alliance Teleporter. Open your backpack, select the Territory Teleporter, and confirm.

When to use it:

  • Early game when setting up in alliance territory.
  • After PvP battles or facility control, if you’re retreating or regrouping.
  • As a last resort when you’re out of other teleporters and want to avoid enemy attacks.

Where to get territory teleporters:

  • Alliance Shop
  • Nomadic Merchant Shop

Random Teleporter

What it does:

As the name suggests, it teleports you to a random location in your state. It’s versatile and perfect for resource plundering or escaping stronger players.

How to use it:

You can access the Random Teleporter from two places:

  1. Growth tab:
    • Open the arrow icon under your profile picture.
    • Select the Growth tab and find Random Teleporters.
  2. Backpack:
    • Click the Random Teleporter and confirm teleportation.

Rechargeable random teleporters: Found in the Growth Tab, these recharge every 2 days, up to a max of 10.

When to use it:

  • Resource plundering: Teleport to a random spot, scout nearby cities, and attack those with unsecured resources.
  • Escaping Attackers: Random teleportation is the quickest way to evade a stronger player. Even whales can’t chase you since they don’t know your new location.
  • PvP Tricks: If you’re targeted repeatedly, random teleport and even change your name to throw off your enemies.

If you want to make sure you’re no longer the easy target, read my previous guide explaining training new troops vs promoting existing ones.

Where to get random teleporters:

  • Alliance Shop
  • Nomadic Merchant Shop
  • Growth Tab: Rechargeable every 2 days.

Cross-State Teleporter

What it does:

The Cross-State Teleporter is used during the State of Power (SvS) event, letting you move to the opposing state to participate in battles.

How to use it:

  1. During the SvS event, open your backpack.
  2. Find the Cross-State Teleporter and use it.

When to use it:

  • During the Battle Phase of the State of Power event to attack enemy cities or join battles in the opposing state.

Where to get Cross-State Teleporters:

  • Provided for free at the start of the State of Power event. Each player gets three.

Read my previous article if you are curious about how to teleport to a new state in the game – even outside of the SvS event.
