With over 50 different classes in Tactics Ogre Reborn, each character has many options to choose from before settling down on a class.
The game includes various standard, demi-human, dragon, beast, golem, and character-exclusive classes to choose from.

In this guide, I will list the best classes in Tactics Ogre Reborn and explain what makes each of them so great.
7. Beast Tamer
The Beast Tamer shines primarily due to the ability to recruit beasts like dragons, griffons, and more.
These flying units can be invaluable, especially in certain fights where enemies have higher ground.
For instance, in the three battles you’ll have to go through if trying to unlock Cressida, flying units are a must-have if you want to succeed. And Cressida is an insanely strong character, so the extra effort is well worth it.
The Ninja is one of the best classes in Tactics Ogre Reborn primarily due to its versatile playstyle.
While it shines with daggers or katanas, it can also wield bows which, combined with the silence, poison, and stun skills, can easily turn the tide of the battle in your favor.
Ranger is a class exclusive to Vyce and Azelstan. Its main asset is its rapid movement combined with the ability to double-attack.
Especially if you pair the ranger with one of the best craftable weapons in the game, the Dirk, you’ll end up silencing all enemy casters and rendering them useless.
4. Rune Fencer
The Rune Fencer is one of the most versatile early-game classes. It combines support skills that heal allies, solid damage and movement speed, and powerful magic and elemental damage.
In addition, Rune Fencers can equip swords, crossbows, and spears, which makes them able to fight at multiple ranges and fill various roles.
3. Knight Commander
The Knight Commander class is exclusive to Ozma. This class combines rapid attacks and movement with the Double Attack skill that helps take down even the strongest enemies.
Once you make Ozma into a Knight Commander, you’ll never want to change her from your team.
2. White Knight
The White Knight is kind of an upgrade over the Knight class. With amazing stats and better skills, White Knights are a significant asset to your team.
In addition, they are faster than Knights and can also use supportive white magic.
Keep in mind that only Gildas, Mirdyn, Ravness, and Ozma can become White Knights.
The Lord is Denam’s exclusive class and the most versatile late-game class. Unlocking the Lord class is fairly straightforward. The tricky part is utilizing its ability to the maximum.
The Lord inherits all skills from previous classes that Denam had. If Denam was a level 30 Knight, Rune Fencer, Ninja, and Warrior beforehand, as a Lord he will have access to all of those classes’ skills.
To sum up, these are the best classes in Tactics Ogre Reborn. They combine great damage, rapid movement and attacks, versatility, and amazing skills.
Having any of them can easily turn the tide of a battle in your favor solely due to how strong they are.
Keep in mind that some of these are character-exclusive classes, so make sure to prepare your team appropriately.
