Did you get stuck playing the Study Room Level in Rooms & Exits – Murder Dressed in White (Chapter 3)? Worry not – it happens to everyone, but I’m here to help! Today, I will share the full text walkthrough for this level so that you can complete it without any more headaches.
I recommend reading this walkthrough only if you are truly stuck (you’ve tried everything and the in-game hints don’t help) – the satisfaction of doing it yourself is greater. But sometimes, that just seems impossible, and if that’s the case, let’s check out the full Rooms & Exits Study Room Level 3 walkthrough below!
1. Get the Blanket from the lounger.
2. Get the Shovel by the fireplace.
3. Tap the fireplace to open the door and use the blanket on the fire. Then, use the shovel to get Ash.
4. Tap the bookshelf and look at the blue books. From top to bottom, they are positioned in Roman numeral form – 4-3-7.
5. Tap the leather bag by the desk and open it using the code above. Get the Brush.
6. Tap the desk, then the utensil holder (the one with scissors). From the small left drawer, get the Duct tape.
7. Tap the small table with drinks. In your inventory, combine the brush and ash to get a Brush with Ash. Use it on the glass. Then use the duct tape on the revealed Fingerprint to get it.
8. Tap the opened bottom right door on the bookcase and get the Magnifying Glass.
9. Go back to the desk and open the top drawer using the fingerprint. Browse through the document and first, when you get to the second page, the one with a card on the top right corner, use the Magnifying Glass to reveal a code.
Keep browsing the files and get the Photograph.
10. Open the laptop on the desk and unlock the screen using the date on the photo (20062015). It asks for the two-step verification code.
11. Go back and tap the small painting on the left wall until you reveal a safe. Open it with the code from the file:
- Tap the left arrow 12 times (to land on 30)
- Tap the right arrow 3 times (to land in the middle between 40 and 50)
- Tap the left arrow 15 times to land between 50 and 60
- Tap the right arrow 3 times
The safe opens – get the light bulb.
11. Use the light bulb on the lamp on the desk, then tap it’s top to move it away – it will reveal a code (1745).
12. Use that code to open the main doors on the bookcase on the wall. Go to the other room.
13. Notice the shapes on the display cabinet. Tap the smaller display cabinet by the stairs, zoom in and open the metal box. Unlock the phone there using the shapes from the previous cabinet (X, Triangle, X, Rhombus). Check for the email verification code – 45837.
14. Go back to the laptop and enter the code. You will get a new one – 62850. Use it on the main door to exit.
