Minecraft Legends: How to Get Rid of Golems

Golems are great mobs players will use throughout their adventure, and help them destroy the Piglin invasion. At some point though golems may begin to take up way too much space in your army.

In this guide, I will go over how to get rid of golems, in Minecraft Legends. Unfortunately, there isn’t a despawn button or command, so players will have to get creative.

The best way to get rid of golems in the game so far is to gently push them into the lava. They will meet their untimely demise this way, but hey, your army will have more room for the units you need.

Minecraft Legends: Methods to Get Rid of Golems

There are four ways for players to try and get rid of their golems. I will go into detail about them below, and leave the best for last.

Get Rid of Golems: Fast Travel Around the Map

This may be more of a bug, but for the purpose we need it, I will call it a “feature”.

It is random, but there are times when fast traveling around the map, will despawn your units.

If you need them it is not ideal, but when you are trying to get rid of some units, jumping back and forth, and playing with the RNG to make them disappear will work to your advantage.

Get Rid of Golems: Complete Quests

Another fun “feature” you can come across, is that when you complete quests the game will randomly decide to make the units that follow you disappear.

This way if you have your golems following you, maybe you will be one of the lucky ones, and have them magically gone.

At the same time players that can’t complete a mission because of the golems, will have to use one of the other methods in this list.

Get Rid of Golems: Attack Piglin Bases

If you want a method that is not a “feature”, and is more likely to succeed throw them into a losing fight.

Attacking a Piglin base when you know you are outnumbered, and outpowered is a good option to let your golems get killed off.

Send them out to the frontline, and watch them get taken down by enemies, and enemy towers.

However, there is one small issue you may come against. If you have a good number of mossy golems, they may end up healing each other more than the damage they will take.

Frustrating the player in the process, and failing at their given task.

Get Rid of Golems: Push Them Into The Lava

The first thing you should look for is a place with lava. One of the popular spots to find lava is Piglin invasion bases or even their Night Beacons.

Collect the necessary resources for building a bridge or a ramp. After you create a bridge or ramp to go across the lava, you will order your units to stay in the middle of the bridge.

Step off the ramp or bridge and then remove the structure completely. After that, all the units that you left in the middle of the structure will fall into the lava.

The units will have no way to survive, and hitting the lava is an instakill for all the mobs.

This is a surefire way to get rid of the golems, in Minecraft Legends.

Final Thoughts

Golems are great units, but as you try different things and strategies you may end up resenting them for taking up space.

Now that you know how to get rid of them, or any unit for that matter you will be able to create different strategies with different team lineups.
