Sakura is an ingredient you can use in many different recipes. In this guide, I will go over where to find and how to use Sakura in Hello Kitty Island Aventure.
They are a pink flower that is extremely popular, and in the game, once you unlock it you can use it in many different recipes, and as gifts to different characters.
The Sakura can be found on the Oasis of Gemstone Mountain, but in the beginning, they are locked behind a quest. Once you complete the quest, you will be able to go to the west side of the oasis and find the Sakura.
You can also see them from the map by zooming in as much as possible and noticing their pink coloring foliage.

Hello Kitty Island Adventure: Unlocking Sakura Requirements
The Sakura can be found in the western area of the Oasis in Gemstone Mountain.
In the beginning, the Oasis is dried, and players will need to rescue it and bring it back to its previous glory.
In order to do that, players will need to raise My Melody’s friendship level to 11 and unlock the Story Quest: Revive the Oasis. Also, Keropi will need to be free to be able to help you.
If you haven’t completed the quest at this point, here is what you need to do in order to complete the story quest.
Head over to the Oasis area, and speak with Keroppi. Follow Keroppi and My Melody to the entrance of the Crystal Caves then head inside.
Once inside, head towards the north and go through the door. From the door, head north until you reach the rope fence. Then take a left or to the east until you see another door, this time glowing blue. Enter through that door.
You’ve arrived at the correct area if you see a bunch of blue crystals around. Float to the platform to your right using the Balloons. Continue jumping and floating onto the platforms to your left until you reach a door at the dead end.
You’ll arrive at a room with a small pond. Go up until you see a boulder blocking the water entrance. A cutscene will play and Chococat will give you the Pickaxe Plan. Go out of the cave to craft the Pickaxe using three Iron Ingots, and ten Wooden Blocks.
Head back in, and break the boulder blocking the water flow using the Pickaxe you just made. Keep following the water flow around the cave areas to break more boulders and complete the “Revive the Oasis” story quest.
Once the quest is completed, the Oasis will spring back to life.
Hello Kitty Island Adventure: Getting and Using Sakura
With the Oasis restored, you will be able to gather Sakura freely.
Fast travel to Pompompurin’s stranded boat. From there go west to the small island, and you will see all the Sakura trees gathered there.
Get close to them, and tap on the icon to gather, and the Sakura will be yours.

- Sakura Cake – Ingredients: Flour, Sakura
- Pink Latte – Ingredients: Candlenut, Sakura
- Sakura Pudding – Ingredients: Cactus Cream, Sakura
- Pink Clouds Ice Cream – Ingredients: Cactus Cream, Sakura, Candy Cloud
- Sakura Soda – Ingredients: Fizzy Crystal, Sakura
A character that is known to enjoy Sakura in its many forms as a gift is My Melody.
