Era of Conquest Gem Challenge Guide: How to Complete All Puzzles

The Gem Challenge is a very interesting event taking place in Era of Conquest, giving you the chance to complete some rather difficult puzzles for plenty of free in-game gems.

Today’s article will help you complete all the puzzles to get the in-game gems for the Server Launch Hunt for Treasure event.

How does this event work?

We have, for starters, 5 puzzles to solve for Gem rewards. Each gives us a cryptic message like “How to Speed Up” or “Do You Know How to Use Select All” and so on…

All of these puzzles will be unlocked by doing something specific in the game, and it took me a while to figure out what they meant.

But I did and I’m here to tell you what to do to complete each of the puzzles in the Gem Challenge event.

So… let’s start!

Puzzle 1 Solution

Simply go to any gold mine in your kingdom, tap it and then tap the hand icon to collect any coins mined.

Immediately after doing so, quickly tap it again and then double tap the hand icon that I’ve marked below:

Puzzle 2 Solution

To finish this one, you need to the Terra Daily in-game newspaper. In order to do so, tap the Terra Square building in your civilization, then tap the newspaper button.

This will pop up a new window – simply tap the “Terra Daily” button to the left of this window and you will complete the puzzle!

Puzzle 3 solution

This was the most difficult puzzle in the Era of Conquest Gem Challenge event for me. The clue, “How Do You Speed Up” didn’t work anyway – I tried speeding up the construction of a building, increasing the Conscription Speed for the army… nothing seemed to work.

Eventually, I found it by mistake. You actually need to have a slightly more advanced feature unlocked in the game: the Advance – Dispatch option.

Once you unlock this, tap Advance in the lower bar, then select the Dispatch option:

There, deploy one of your generals to any of the missions, and when they’re gone, click the “Speed up” button as shown below:

Puzzle 4 solution

This one took me ages to complete, but I finally figured it out. You will need two armies unlocked in order to be able to complete it (so at least War Hall level 2)

Once you do have two armies, go out of the Kingdom view into the World view by tapping the Earth Globe icon in the lower left corner.

Swipe away outside of the kingdom’s borders and tap a random empty area on the map, then march there both of your armies:

When they both are there, double tap the armies to select both of them and move the to a different empty location on the map (tap the location, then “March”). This is it!

Puzzle 5 solution

To complete this one, head over into your Kingdom and tap the Announcement Board to read the announcements and earn your reward.
