How to unlock mounts in Diablo IV

The first mount the player can unlock in Diablo IV is the basic mount by reaching the capital of the Fractured Peaks, Kyovashad, and finding the Stable Master. Talking with this NPC opens a menu where you can see all the mounts you currently own.

After completing the quest, that the master gives you, “Mount: Donan’s Favor“, your first Diablo 4 mount will be unlocked. This quest will become available once you reach Act 2 and will let you use all the features of this system.

This half-dead, half-alive mount can be unlocked if you are lucky enough to cross paths with a Treasure Goblin. Slaying Treasure Goblins will have a chance to drop this mount, so you will probably need to find more than one.

You only need to be careful not to let the Treasure Goblin teleport after he runs away from you. This will happen a few times, depending on the damage you can inflict upon it while ignoring the other enemies around it.

Diablo 4 Mounts in battle

Each class has special dismounting attacks when riding their mount into battle, used simply by pressing one button. We will list below each unique skill:

• Sorcerer – While jumping from the mount’s back, the Sorcerer will form an Ice Storm that freezes the enemies in its path.
