Dave the Diver recently left Early Access and released its major 1.0 content update. One of the new features introduced is the ability to pour Beer.
While it sounds simple, it’s important to learn how to pour the perfect Beer with the right amount of head (which is the foamy stuff at the top of a beer). Serving the beer properly will also allow you to get the most money per beer served.
In this guide, I will explain how to pour Beer in Dave the Diver and showcase the best beer-to-head ratio to keep your customers satisfied and make the most money.

How to Unlock Beer in Dave the Diver

To unlock Beer, you will need to progress the game until you can get and complete the quest “Gourmet Vincent’s Challenge”. For this quest, Vincent will visit the restaurant and you’ll need to serve him Jellyfish Sushi.
Upon serving him this food and passing the inspection, you’ll receive the following rewards:
- 1,000 gold
- 50 Like
- 1x Refrigerator
Specifically, the Refrigerator will allow you to unlock and serve Beer, which works similarly to Green Tea.
However, serving Beer is not as easy as it sounds. Let’s see how to do it.
How to Pour Beer in Dave the Diver

After unlocking Beer, wait for a customer to request one. Once they do, simply walk next to them (as you’d do while serving Tea) and you’ll start the Beer minigame.
To pour Beer in Dave the Diver and get the maximum tip, focus on having about 20% head (foam) in the Beer.
To consistently pour the perfect analogy of beer-to-head, start by tilting the glass and filling it to about 80% (where about 50% will be foam). Then, as the foam settles down, level the glass and keep it straight while tapping to add a bit more Beer. With one or two more taps, you’ll end up with about 20% foam.
Practice this once or twice and make sure to be patient enough to pause after leveling the glass and you’ll be able to pour the perfect Beer consistently.

To sum up, players can unlock Beer in Dave the Diver by completing the “Gourmet Vincent’s Challenge” quest.
Then, they can pour Beer by tilting the glass when starting to pour the Beer and keeping it tilted until about 80% of the glass is filled. Then, they should level it and tap about two more times to add the final sips of Beer, which will create the perfect beer-to-foam ratio.
