What are Lucky Pals in Palworld
Lucky pals are a special variant of any pal in the game. The closest comparison that can be made is the shiny Pokemon in the Pokemon franchise.
Palworld has implemented these variants, by making them bigger than the original pal and giving them a special passive skill.
The passive skill “Rare” or “Lucky” gives lucky pals a +15% Work Speed buff and a +15% Attack buff.
Lucky pals can not be obtained as a result of breeding, nor will they have a different element from the original pal.

Recognising Lucky Pals in Palworld
Since there is no way to guarantee you will encounter a lucky pal this doesn’t mean that you will be at the mercy of the RNG.
There are some things you can look out for, to increase your chances of finding these lucky pals.
While exploring the map you may notice a weird sound like something is shining, or whistling. It’s a weird sound to explain, but once you hear it, you will notice it immediately.
When you follow the sound as it grows louder, you will reach the lucky pal.
Aside from the sound, there is also another thing that will help you identify lucky pals from a distance.
Lucky pals are bigger in size. I cannot stress this enough, but they are bigger than the original. You will also notice the shiny sparkles around them like an aura.
