To find the Adamantine Forge in Baldur’s Gate 3, progress the story until you reach the Underdark. Navigate to the southwest side of the map as shown in the image above and look for the docks there.

Take the boat across and you’ll reach the Grymforge area. Use Fly or Superjump to navigate through the area and unlock the fast travel point.

While traveling there, keep your eyes open for various Moulds and Mithral Ore which can be found on this map. Both will be necessary if you want to use the Adamantine Forge and craft equipment.

Keep following the map, until you reach the end of it where the Adamantine Forge is located.

How to Use the Adamantine Forge

Insert Mithral Ore in the Crucible (top left), Mould in the Mould Chamber (bottom left), and pull the lever (right) to use the Adamantine Forge in BG3.

To use the Adamantine Forge in BG3, interact with the Mould Chamber and insert any Mould that you picked up here. The type of Mould that you’ll use will determine the weapon you’ll craft.

If you haven’t found any, check the iron catwalk at the top of the temple where you can find a Longsword Mould. Also, there’s a Split Mould next to the fast travel point and up the stairs on the left of the overlook.

Then, insert Mithral Ore in the Central Crucible. The best location to find Mithral Ore is near the Ancient Forge waypoint.

Head south towards a ruined bridge, defeat the Animated Armor enemies there, and head behind the ruins to find a lava-filled area. On the wall opposite you, there’s a vein of Mithral Ore.

Alternatively, players can find Mithral Ore in a library area on a nearby path as they’re heading down to the forge.

Lastly, interact with the Forge Lever on your right to activate the Adamantine Forge.

This will spawn Grym, which is a boss fight that you have to go through if you want to use the Forge.

The best way to beat Grym involves luring it to the center and using the lever to deal 120 damage to it. The number of hits Grym will take to die will depend on your difficulty level, so you’ll need to repeat this a few times.

After beating Grym, interact with the Forge Lever again and you’ll be able to get your items from the Forge and start crafting Adamantine Gear.
