So, you’re at this important point in the Dating 4 Girls game: it’s Chapter 5 and you’ve finally confessed your undying digital love to Andy. But you’re also a veteran gamer and you know those “what ifs” are exactly what you need.
So you think you’ll just hop back to the menu and see how the other girls reacted. And this is when chaos becomes reality. You click that Chapter 6 selection button and everything goes sideways. The screen hangs. The dialogue boxes start glitching out like a haunted cartridge.
This truly sucks, but fortunately, there is a way to fix it. And I am here to help you with the Andy bug in the game, aka the Chapter 6 bug/problem.
The Official Word on the Matter
I did some digging into the developer’s own support notes, and it turns out Andy is made on purpose to be a bit different.
While the rest of the cast in Dating 4 Girls shares a similar framework for their Chapter 6 content, Andy’s storyline uses a completely separate starting point.
They designed it this way to keep her specific “narrative rhythm” intact, but it means her plot nodes are incompatible with the rest of the girls.
In other words, if you try to jump from her confession into someone else’s Chapter 6, the game’s logic enters a death spiral, hence the bug we’re experiencing if we’re trying this.

How To Fix This Bug
The solution is pretty simple, fortunately, even if it feels a bit like a chore.
- Head back to the main menu and open the Chapter Selection function.
- You need to load up Chapter 5 again.
- Replay that final confession scene and pick the girl you actually want to see in Chapter 6.
Once you make that choice and the chapter naturally concludes, the game will automatically roll you into the correct storyline.
It’s the only way to ensure the new storyline unlocks without a hitch.

The team behind the game mentioned they are evaluating ways to improve this, likely by adding clear warning messages to that Chapter 6 screen so players don’t wander into the same trap.
