Are you looking to upgrade your weapons and get your hands on one of the strongest guns in the game? Here’s everything you need to know on how to get the Aphelion Long Gun in Remnant 2.
To get this gun, players will need to defeat an alternate version of a boss and use one of its drops to craft it.
In this guide, I will explain how to get the Aphelion Long Gun in Remnant 2, including how to get the Override Pin and how to craft the weapon.
How to Get the Aphelion Long Gun in Remnant 2
To get the Aphelion in Remnant 2, players will need to find the Override Pin item, destroy the Core in Sentinel’s Keep, get the Void Cinder item, and visit Ava to craft it. Let’s examine each of these in turn.
To get the Override Pin, visit Timeless Horizon in N’Erud and look for a building with no name on the upper side of the map. Head straight in and then go right. Take the elevator up and turn right again to find a hidden underground passage leading to two more elevators.
It’s a tricky route full of turns and hidden paths, so make sure to check out the video below if you’re having trouble finding the Override Pin.
At the end of the path, you’ll find the Override Pin item.
Next, you’ll need to reach the Sentinel’s Keep area and find the console in the middle of a large platform. Interact with the console there and insert the Override Pin.
Keep in mind that if you use the Override Pin, you won’t be able to get the Spectral Blade in Remnant 2. During each playthrough, you can only get either the Spectral Blade or the Aphelion Gun.
Next, you will need to defeat the Sha’Hala: Spectral Guardian of N’Erud boss, which will have different moves compared to the original fight.
Defeating this boss will drop a variety of items, including the Void Cinder.
With the Void Cinder in hand, visit Ava McCabe in Ward 13 to craft the Aphelion Long Gun. You will need to have the following materials:
- 1x Void Cinder
- 7x Lumenite Crystal
- 1,000x Scrap
As for stats, the Aphelion Gun has 62 damage, 2 RPS, and a magazine of 7. Its ability is called Supernova and deals solid AoE Fire and Burning damage to all targets within four meters.
