Do you want to demolish and incinerate the opponent in the Battle Stadium of Pokémon Scarlet and Violet? Do you want to win tera raids like they are a piece of cake? Well, Ceruledge is the answer to your desires!
Ceruledge is a version-exclusive Pokémon, though, and can only be obtained in Pokémon Violet. Its counterpart, in Pokémon Scarlet, is Armarouge.
Both of these Mon evolve from Charcadet; in this article, we’ll only take a look at how you can get Ceruledge and ace it all in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet!
How to Evolve Charcadet into Ceruledge in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet?
You can evolve Charcadet into Ceruledge by using an item, Malicious Armor, on Charcadet.
Malicious Armor can be obtained by completing a particular task for an NPC. But, before that, you need to have Charcadet in your Pokedex first!
How to get Charcadet in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet?
Thankfully, Charcadet isn’t too rare in the game. You can catch the Pokemon in all the provinces of Paldea. The Pokemon is available regardless of the time of the day, but they’re tiny in size.
There’s a chance that you might not see them moving around, especially in the grassy areas. So, it’s good to always stay focused on the tiniest movements while searching for this Pokemon.
There has been one reported location, however, where Charcadet spawns on a regular basis. You have to locate the East Gate of Mesagoza and head out of the city through that gate.
Follow the pathway of the river just outside the city, until you reach a blocked passage. Look around the rock blocking the passage and you should be able to encounter at least one Charcadet!
You’ll also require the Malicious Armor in order to turn Charcadet into Ceruledge.
How to obtain Malicious Armor in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet?
The Malicious Armor will be offered to you by an NPC in the game after you fulfill her conditions – collecting 10 Sinistea Chips.
Firstly, you’ll need to interact with the NPC, who can be found in Zapapico City. Zapapico is located on the western side of the East Province (Area Three).
Make your way towards the Pokemon Center, Zapapico (East), and keep moving towards the center of the town.
Be on the lookout for a woman wearing a Denim jacket and a red shirt, standing in front of a fountain. She’s the NPC you’ll be trading with for the Malicious Armor.
Interact with the NPC and she’ll ask you for 10 Sinistea Chips in exchange for the Malicious Armor.
Now, to find Sinistea Chips, you have to keep your eyes sharp as these are as small as Charcadet, or smaller! Sinistea chips have to be collected by battling and defeating the Ghost type Pokemon, Sinistea.
The best place to find Sinistea is the East Province (Area Three), which is very close to Zapapico City.
When you’ve reached the location, carefully look through the green, barren lands for any existence of the Pokemon. In case you aren’t able to spot any, go on top of one of the small hills and move back down after a bit.
You should encounter a Sinistea when you descend. It might take a while to collect a total of 10 Sinistea Chips and you may need to go up and down the hills a few times.
Head back to the NPC near the fountain when you have 10 Sinistea Chips. Interact with her to offer her the Sinistea Chips, and in return, she’ll give you the Malicious Armor.
How to Evolve Charcadet into Ceruledge?
Navigate to the “Other Items” menu in your Bag. The Malicious Armor will be available in this section.
Click on the item and select the “Use this Item” option. The item is only applicable on Charcadet; select the Pokemon and watch it evolve into the amazing Ceruledge!
Ceruledge is one of the strongest Fire-type Pokemon in the game. It’s insanely strong and is perfect for all sorts of battles, starting from the challenges in the Battle Stadium to the 5-star raids!
Its counterpart, Armarouge, is no less! Armarouge also evolves from Charcadet, but when Auspicious Armor is used instead of Malicious Armor.
