Mortal Kombat 1 “Flipping Out” is one of the Klues you’re going to encounter when playing the Invasion mode in the game. And since it’s not very clear what you have to do, I am here to help.
I will tell you how to complete the Mortal Kombat 1 Flipping Out Klue, and what’s the easiest way to do it – because, as you will see, it’s normally difficult to achieve due to your opponent’s attacks.
But you’ll get your chance for a bit of revenge at the end. Make sure to check out the previously published article where I shared the Mortal Kombat 1 fatalities (and how to unlock them) to pick and choose Vixen’s demise.
Now, without further ado, let’s see how to easily complete the Flipping Out Klue in Mortal Kombat 1!
Mortal Kombat 1: Flipping Out Klue Solution
You will stumble upon the Flipping Out Klue in Mortal Kombat 1 while in the Tarkatan Colony Mesa, when you encounter vixen.
The clue simply reads “Flipping Out” and it is so far the most annoying one to get as it’s not clear what you should do (plus, even when you know, it’s not easy to achieve).
The solution to solve Flipping Out in the game is to change your character’s stance during the fight against Vixen multiple times. Based on my own experience, you will need to change stance around 15 – 20 times in order to complete it.
In order to “change stance” you will need to press the assigned button for the move (usually LT/L2/ZL by default, depending on the platform you’re playing). Do this around 15 times and you’re all set.
However, as you will see during the fight, it’s not extremely easy to do because of Vixen’s attacks that mess up your controls.
This is why, the easiest way to complete the Flipping Out Klue in Mortal Kombat 1 is to start the game going as far away from opponent as possible, all while spamming the button to change stance.
If you’re out of her attack’s range, you will have enough time to do it enough times. Even if she gets close enough, you can jump over her then move to the other side, pushing the button like crazy.
Don’t forget to actually keep an eye on the timer and defeat her before it runs out.
You might not be able to complete this hidden Klue at your first try, but try again and it will eventually happen. You’ll know you did it if the gate blocking your access to the chest disappears.
Although frustrating, the Flipping Out Klue in Mortal Kombat 1 is part of the game and, as long as you manage to keep your distance from Vixen early on, you’re most likely going to get it sooner rather than later.
At least you know now what is expected from you – as well as how to achieve it, so go ahead and try it a few times before mastering it.
