So, without waiting any longer, let’s get you that Spice ingredient, so you can start cooking the delicious dishes of Sumeru.

How to get Spice Ingredient?

You can either purchase Spice or obtain the ingredient from a Cooking Station.

There are no special requirements to collect the Spice ingredient and you can use any of the newly-introduced characters, such as Ganyu, Collei, Tighnari or even the ones from the older patches.

Purchasing Spice

The Spice ingredient is sold by the NPC, Lambad in his own, Lambad’s Tavern.

Buying items from the Lambad’s Tavern is quite simple and straightforward, just like purchasing from the general goods shop.

It’s located in Sumeru City and it’s pretty easy to spot if you start looking around Avidya Forest.

Lambad's Tavern Menu

You’ll walk up to Lambad and upon interacting, you should ask him to show you the menu of items available.

As you navigate through the items, you’ll find the “Spice” item available for 540 Mora.

Clicking on the item asks you to choose the number of jars of Spice you want to buy, with 10 being the limit.

Once you’re done purchasing again, you can buy the item again after 72 hours from Lambad’s Tavern.

Spice is also sold by another NPC called Rama, who’s known as the Spice Merchant. You can purchase from Rama in Port Ormos and she sells it for the same price as Lambad.

Cooking Station

The Cooking Station is another way to obtain Spice by using Harra fruit.

Firstly, you need to collect some Harra fruits according to your requirement. Two of these fruits will get you one jar of Spice.

Cooking Station

Once you’re at the Cooking Station, select on the “Chillies” icon present on top of the screen.

You should select “Spice” from the new menu that appears and choose the number of Spice jars as per your needs.

The Spice jars should be added to your inventory in no time!

Wrapping Up

You see how easy it is to get the Spice ingredient? You can have as much Spice as you want in a fairly short period of time. Even if you’re short in funds, you can process the Ingredient as well!

Along with character special dishes, the 3.0 update of Genshin Impact has also introduced a large number of new recipes that you can cook and enrich using the Spice ingredient which, according to the Sumeru locals, goes well with anything.
