Genshin Impact: BEST Tighnari Build

Another new patch in Genshin Impact means another set of big updates. The biggest and newest thing yet is the new Sumeru region a brand new character – Tighnari.

Tighnari is a character that focuses on his ranged bow attacks. He is amazing to be placed in almost every type of fighting situation because of his versatility.

In this guide, we will be discussing his best attributes, what team to place him with, how to level him up, and what is the BEST Tighnari build so far. Let’s get started.

What Are The Best Builds For Tighnari?

There are many types of builds that can be chosen for Tighnari. He is an all-around type of character that can adapt to pretty much all the situations that come in front of him.

That doesn’t mean that he is all-powerful though, so some builds need to be followed in order for him to become better and much stronger.

Here are a couple of builds that have helped me out a lot in my early game, and then the late game is where Tighnari can really show how effective he can be in a team fight.

Early Game Build

This is usually for playing Tighnari if you aren’t able to get some of the better late-game items. It works too and it is heavily focused on Elemental Mastery.

Usually, you will play this before you are able to get the Deepwood Artifacts. This is what it should look like:

Weapon:

  • Hunter’s Path

Artifact:

  • Gilded Dreams 4x

Main Stats:

  • Sands
  • Goblet
  • Circlet

Sub Stats:

  • Elemental Mastery
  • Crit Rate
  • Crit DMG
  • ATK %

Late Game Build

This is when you already have been leveled up to the maximum and then also able to equip some of the rare items like the Deepwood Artifacts.

Make sure to check out both of these builds. They both rely on DMG dealing but both of them are very different and need a special type of gameplay.

The Main DPS Build

This one is focused on dealing as much damage as possible. Dealing damage is something that Tighnami can really excel at.

Weapon:

  • Hunter’s Path

Artifacts:

  • Deepwood Memories 4x

Main Stats:

  • Circlet – This is for boosting CRIT Rate and DMG
  • Goblet – This is for boosting Dendro DMG
  • Sands – This is for boosting the ATK % and Elemental Mastery

Sub Stats:

  • Crit Rate
  • Crit DMG
  • ATK %
  • Elemental Mastery

Charged ATT DPS Build

When you’re dealing damage to enemies you will eventually get a charged-up powerful strike that can deal a massive amount of damage.

With this build, you will emphasize on that damage and make it a one-shot kill on most of the enemies in Genshing Impact. This is what you should stick with:

Weapon:

  • Hunter’s Path

Artifacts:

  • Wanderer’s Troupe 4x

Main Stats:

  • Sands – This is for boosting ATK % and Elemental Mastery
  • Goblet – This is for boosting Dendro DMG
  • Circlet – This is for boosting CRIT Rate and DMG

Sub Stats:

  • Crit Rate
  • Crit DMG
  • Elemental Mastery
  • ATK %

Best Weapon For Tighnari

The Hunter’s Path:

  • Gain a 12% bonus to all elemental DMG.
  • After striking an opponent with a Charged Attack, you will gain the Tireless Hunt effect. Charged Attack DMG is increased by 160% of Elemental Mastery.
  • After 12 Charged Attacks or 10s, this effect will be gone. Every 12s, only one occurrence of Tireless Hunt may be obtained.
  • It has a CRIT rate of 9.6 %

Some other good weapons for Tighnari can be the Aqua Simulacra:

  • HP will be boosted by 16%.
  • When there are enemies around, the DMG inflicted by this weapon is raised by 20%. This will apply whether the character is on the field or not.
  • It has a CRIT DMG of 20%

And the Viridescent Hunt:

  • Normal and Aimed Shot Attacks have a 50% chance of generating a Cyclone
  • The Cyclone attracts nearby opponents and deals 40% of ATK as DMG to them every 0.5s for 4s.
  • This effect can happen just once every 14s.
  • It has a CRIT rate of 6%

You can also give Prototype Crescent a try:

  • For 10s, Aimed Shot hits on weak locations raise Movement SPD by 10% and ATK by 36%.
  • It gives a Bonus ATT of 6%

Best Team For Tighnari

Getting your squadmates and a team will be crucial in order to get Tighnari to the best possible effect. This is the best team that a lot of players have had the most success with:

  • Tighnari – best DPS dealer
  • Yae Miko – sub DPS dealer
  • Zhongli – Support
  • Fischl – sub DPS dealer

This team concentrates on the Spread Dendro response. Fischl and Yae Miko will keep the Quicken Aura active on the enemies which you are facing, allowing Tighnari to trigger the Spread response from his Charged Attacks and Burst.

Zhongli can be replaced by characters like Kazuha and Diona. And you can also check out this Collei build, since they arrived to the game at the same time.

How Do I Level Up Tighnari?

Leveling up Tighnari is actually not as hard as many people would imagine. Yes, it would take time just like all the other characters.

But having a very high DMG as well as an amazing range to take down enemies will make him go up with level fairly easily without getting killed a lot.

Traveling the world of Genshin Impact provides little XP, thus XP resources like Hero’s Wit come in handy. You’ll also need a lot of Mora to buy the Ascensions of Tighnari.

To get to level 80 you will need a total of this many Ascensions Materials:

  • 2.100.000 Mora
  • Fungal Spores – 18
  • Luminescent Pollen – 30
  • Crystalline Cyst Dust – 36
  • Nilotpala Lotus – 186
  • Nagadus Emerald Silver – 1
  • Nagadus Emerald Fragment – 9
  • Nagadus Emerald Chunk – 9
  • Nagadus Emerald Gemstone – 6
  • Majestic Hooked Beaks – 46

What Talents Do I Level Up For Tighnari?

The talents are crucial when it comes to building a good Tighnari. There are certainly more types of ways that you can play Tighnari but the biggest DPS focus will be the best.

That is why you should stick to these talents and in particularly this order:

  1. Normal Attack
  2. Elemental Burst
  3. Elemental Skill.

Tighnari’s Charged Attacks do the majority of his damage and should be prioritized during leveling, with his Elemental Burst coming in second. His Elemental Skill can be left until last.

Tighnari’s Special Dish

Tighnari’s special dish is something that you should be using. It is the Forest Watcher’s Choice and it is highly effective for your team.

It will give you and your team a total of 151 DEF for 300 seconds. It is something that I and my squadmates use in almost every battle situation.

To find out more about it check out the article I have just written about it. You can click here for more.

Conclusion

Tighnari is all in all a perfect character to be played in your dream-team. He is an absolute beast in damage dealing if played with the build that I have presented in this guide.

You will need to make a decision on whether you will go for the DPS build or the Charged up DPS build. They are both very effective but need different types of gameplay.

Make sure to give them a try and let me know in the comments how it worked out for you. Have fun!
