Eternal Magic Mentorship Guide: How to Get Free H11 Gears

For all the Eternal Magic players with the “New Player” status out there and not only, this is a guide to the Mentorship system, which will help you get free H11 gears (which are some very powerful gears especially as a beginner).

The Mentorship system allows players to take others as Students, which in turn rewards both parties. I will divide this guide in two parts, each covering one of them – the Mentors and the Students.

I will start with the Mentors, because the Students’ life is easier, so we should get the mentors’ job straight first!

Eternal Magic – Mentor Role

Once a player has reached level 40, they can start recruiting students. At the very start, a player can only take 4 students max, but as they level up, the students number will increase to 6.

Mentors will receive Mentorship points whenever the students complete the following (pretty much every game content):

– Instances

– Battlefields

– Quests

Whenever a mentor helps their student complete quests, the mentor will receive Silver and EXP (character and pet EXP). Once a student reaches level 60, the Mentor will receive a graduation gift chest, which will contain goods depending on the level that the student has been taken by the Mentor.

When a Master clears a Heroic Instance with a student, they have a chance to receive an extra chest containing goods for the students. So it’s always good to tag along and help the students with the low Heroic keys!

Extra Guild Influence points are given if the mentor and the student are in the same Guild!

As the students keep gathering points, they can ask for graduation, which can be done once they have gathered 300 points. When a student graduates, they will give the Master some rewards, and they will be promoted to the Disciple status. A master can have up to 6 Disciples.

Student Graduation

Once a student reaches level 60, they can be promoted to the Disciple status, which is given to players without the “New Player Status”, who have at least 300 Mentorship Points with the Mentor. That’s when the Mentor can Promote the Student and to Disciple. The other option is Graduate, which will release the student.

Eternal Magic – Student Role

The Students will give their Mentors points whenever they complete most game content (Battlefields, Instances, Quests) and those points will let the Mentors save up currency in order to buy goods for the Students / Disciples.

Being a Student is pretty easy and straightforward, so as long as you’re completing game content, you’ll make the Mentor happy.

Mentorship extra features

There are plenty of perks to try and get as many students and disciples as you can, as well as find 2 mentors (because that’s the maximum number of mentors a character can have). If you are not yet familiar with them, then let me walk you through all of them:

Mentor Store:

In the Store Mentors can use their Mentorship Coins and Silver to buy various goods for the Students. There are limits to how many items can be purchased, so I suggest that you buy them for all at the right time (when the Student is level 60+ for the gears, or when the Student is lower for the EXP boxes).

The Mentors can buy Hero 11 gears for the Students, which is why it’s recommended that you get 2 Mentors. This is the best gear that you can equip as soon as you are level 60, which will allow you to go into stronger instances and face more difficult challenges.

– Free Mentor Summon:

The Students can summon their Mentor to their exact location for free every 10 minutes, which can be helpful in many situations. Of course, this is not such an amazing perk as the H11 gear, but it’s there, so don’t forget that if you want to quickly ask your Mentor for help, you can also freely teleport them!

– EXP Transfer:

A Mentor who is in Vallund with a Student can offer the Student free EXP. The conditions for the EXP Transfer are that the Mentor has plenty of Mentorship EXP stored up. This EXP can be gathered whenever the Mentor does instances / quests which reward EXP.

The entire process takes 60 seconds, time in which they cannot perform any other interactions. The EXP Transfer can be done twice per day, as long as the Master has plenty of Mentorship EXP left.

These would be the main things that you need to keep in mind – don’t forget that both being a Mentor and being a Student / Disciple is important, so don’t be like myself and wait until you are level 65 to find a second mentor!

Get two mentors ASAP and try to get as many Students as you can, while actively working on improving them! It will benefit both of you!
