The Destiny 2 beta has come and gone on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, and it was as big as you could imagine. Bungie themselves have said that this was the biggest beta test they have ever done before, and they’re already putting the data they’ve collected to good use.
That means its the PC community’s turn! The Destiny 2 PC Beta will open for Early Access players on August 28. The day after on August 29, the beta will open to everyone to try, and it will continue until August 31. And here come the important details: specs requirements! Is your PC up to date to run Destiny 2? Here are the recommend specs from Bungie themselves.
Intel – Core i5-2400
AMD – Ryzen R5 1600X
Nvidia – GeForce GTX 970
AMD – Radeon R9 390
These are really specific specs, so don’t worry if you don’t have the exact CPU or GPU they’ve listed. If you’ve got a fairly recent card or processor, you should be okay! Here are the minimum specs:
Intel – Core i3-3250
AMD – FX-4350
Nvidia – GeForce GTX 660 2GB
AMD – Radeon HD 7850 2GB
As always, these specs are subject to change before the game’s final release on October 24. In the following weeks, Bungie will release more info on the beta – things like pre-load times, additional testing times, and so forth. Keep in mind that Destiny 2 on PC will only be available through the Blizzard app. If you’ve pre-ordered the game and received an Early Access Pre-order code, head on over to the Destiny companion site to log in with your Blizzard info.
Keep an eye on the site to know more details about downloading the client. In the mean time, sit tight – Destiny 2‘s long-await PC debut is just a couple months away!
