The Jaws of Oblivion
I started to have fun again…but not in WAR or watching Youtube videos with crazy people in them (…I should really stop watching those…).

I took a page from the book of Zonk and fired up Oblivion again. It’s just what I need right now because the game just my pace, i.e. I don’t need to keep up with anyone in order to feel like I’ve accomplished anything. However, I’m still very tempted to re-join R&H (…Karen’s guild..) in EQ2. There is still lots left undone in that game that I was right in the middle of before I ventured into WAR. I’m 80% to just going back to EQ2, but I think some Oblivion decompression time will do me good before heading back in there. I’ll jump into WAR every once and a while when I feel the need to bust some heads, but I think I may be done for now. It’s a perfect time actually. I’m level 19…about half way through PvE stuff. This gives Mythic some time to fix performance and add more content while I venture off on other adventures.
For those who haven’t tried Oblivion yet, I highly recommend that you give it a try. Here’s the funny thing about that game right now. It runs better on my machine than WAR does. Isn?t that a kicker? On maximum settings even. I can’t believe how strong the Oblivion mod community has become in the last 2 years. I have mods installed that make this into a totally different game from what I remember. Oh….and being a Ranger-like character in that game is extremely satisfying. If you haven’t played the game, or have not tried shooting mobs with a bow then you?re missing out on one of the best ranged combat that I?ve ever seen in an RPG.
Nothing else to report right now. Seems like the bloggers are mostly reporting on WAR features/issues…and that’s always a good read. See…I don’t have to really play the game, I can just live vicariously through you guys 
Actually, as I was writing this, I just got to 95% for EQ2 and will probably be re-installing it tonight.
