I would rather have a high level in WAR than EQ2 at this point. I sir REVERSE your wish and hope for a mass EQ2 exodus that forces you to group and level in Warhammer. Wait I dont want EQ2 to fail either. Hmmm. BAH
I certainly don’t want Warhammer to fail; however, since I have a budget on my MMO spending, I secretly wish it was pushed back about a year so that I don’t have to cancel my Station Access and finally make a choice between all the great games on there….sigh.
I’ve preordered WAR and am waiting for it. Until then, I’m in Pirates of the Burning Sea and Eve Online. I swore off SOE after SWG and EQ2, but I can admit it – I’m really digging PotBS. Of course, I love History anyway, so this was always a game I was wanting to try.
As for Eve – this is the third time I’ve attempted this game. But I’m sticking with it this time!
@Jefeweizen- Sure, sure you’ll stick with Eve this time >:). I’m certain the repeated Eve-jumping is the dirty secret of many in this community. Lets hope WAR offers the same complexity of gameplay as Eve without the “but why can’t I bring myself to play it consistantly” contradictions.
I’ve been playing the WAR beta and I don’t think it’s going to fall on it’s ass. I DO think that they have overhyped (is that even a word?) the game, and that NO game could live up to the way it’s been promoted. Paul’s enthusiasm is indeed a mixed blessing.
My secret wish is that WotLK is a steaming turd and it forces all those people to make a decision about WoW here and now. And they all decided to go to all the games out there, providing a windfall of players in several games at once.
[...] really got rid of it since I was dabbling in VG a bit after GU6…also recall my secret, dirty wish. So, besides re-exploring Oblivion as well as Fallout 2, EQ2 looks to be where I’ve ended up [...]
