      being a place that matters – maybe what we are seeing is the mmo worlds being designed less as open sandboxes and more as games.

      Great show as always.

      In regard to the gambling in game convo, as with EQ2 and their slot machine type of play, SWG had (has?) a roulette type of game. It was not visual though. You would only get a chat message that the wheel was spinning and then what your ball landed on. While both are ok, a nice poker/blackjack type of mini game play would be great. Sitting at a table with other players/npc’s and playing with an interface much like a online poker site would have would be great.
