Couple good videos
…both are brilliant.
One is from a guy that has grown on me…Paul Barnett. It’s a talk he had at the Lift Conference. Go check it out if you haven’t already.
The next is not game related but is a bit of an environmental service announcement. It’s called the Story of Stuff. Now I’m not an environmental nut by any stretch, but I’m also not someone who thinks that everything is fine on our little rock. I can’t speak to any of the numbers that she talks about, because it seems that everyone has their own…but I do know that, yeah, we buy too much crap. So, as gamers, I guess the best way that we can help out is to buy more of our games digitally….which is what I’ve decided to do after watching that. I was also going to buy a new cell phone, but have decided not to….the old one works quite well.
Don’t want the comments to go into an environmental flame war…we all know how those turn out. Just, try not to buy as much stuff this year and see what happens.
