Garriott and Social Gaming

This is rich (From Massively):

“There’s tons of small start-ups who we are seeing take lots of investment and lots of activity and large acquisition costs — who are creating, literally, junk. Stuff that people aren’t playing that much and if you play it it’s not much fun,”

Hey Dick, Poker and Blackjack are not exactly quality products either ;)

He does have a point, social gaming is junk and I’m very glad that he realizes that. Garriott’s challenge now becomes: what is he going to do about it? I have my doubts that he’s the man that can take social gaming out of the ghetto.

D out.
