I read this little line over at Tobold’s this morning:

None of us have $50 million+ of spare change to hire a team of developers to create our personal dream game.

…why, oh why, did I get this image in my head after I read that:

    The other funny part is that even if we all did have 50mil, our MMO would still suck because the server population would be 1.

    Scratch that, 95% of the ‘MMO player’ population would indeed be playing their dream game.

    Syncaine, 95% of the gamers would just be tourists in their own dream game. They would realize that what they considered their ideal game was no fun at all and move on to some of their old favourites.
