This is a very interesting update with some added information on the details of the lawsuit:
Garriott, best known for the Ultima RPG series, alleges that he lost millions when NCsoft manipulated him into cashing out stock options earlier this year after firing him late in 2008. Garriott’s dismissal is news in itself, as his departure from the company was presented to the gaming community by NCsoft as voluntary.
..ouch.
Hmmm….don’t they always say “voluntary” or “left for other opportunities” when it comes to high profile firings? Bit of a lesson in there I think.

Yes they always do, which is why many of us already knew he’d been fired and not left on his own. However of course we couldn’t know the details. Ouch indeed, as much as I don’t like the man.
